Last night CBS aired the Grammys Celebration for the Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin. SZA & Alicia Keys were teamed up for the special tribute. The duo sang the classic “Day Dreaming” and “You’re all I need to get by.”
I thought their performance was amazing! SZA put her spin on “Day dreaming” and killed her solo. I really loved her little rendition! We all know covering an Aretha Franklin song is not easy, at all, but my good sis pulled through and proved every naysayer wrong! I’m really proud of her! Alicia Keys did her thing as well. All around, I really enjoyed that performance.
