SZA has just graced the cover of New York Times Magazine alongside with Cardi B, Gucci Mane, and King Krule! Omg I think this is her third cover this year! Whoop! The issue is called “25 songs that tell us where music is going,” and it features Drew Barrymore as one of the 25 songs.
I know I say I love SZA’s interviews all the time lol but I REALLY loved this one. It was so insightful! Punch was also featured in this interview. He’s so funny to me and super chill. He was super cool when I met him. Basically in the interview he explains how its different managing SZA because she’s a woman. She faces different adversities than the guys because she was brought up different and her insecurities but ultimately she has become their little kid sister.
Another favorite part was when Mama Rowe explained how difficult it was raising SZA, her Scorpio child. She goes into detail but I don’t want to give too much spoilers. If you have time to read the article make sure you grab a snack! Click here for the full interview.
